Auf seinem neuen Album&nbsp;Liminal&nbsp;betrachtet der Komponist und Pianist&nbsp;Joep&nbsp;Beving&nbsp;die Rolle der Menschheit innerhalb einer breiteren, mehr als menschlichen &Ouml;kologie und sucht eine Verbindung mit der Natur, anstatt sich von ihr zu trennen.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Das Album ist von Guillaume Log&eacute;s Buch &ldquo;Wilde Renaissance&rdquo; inspiriert und ist als Reaktion auf die wachsende Unsicherheit und den Zusammenbruch alter Systeme entstanden. Das Projekt besteht aus 15 teilweise elektronischen Solo-Klavierst&uuml;cken und bewohnt einen Grenzraum, der das Publikum auf eine atmosph&auml;rische Reise zwischen zeitgen&ouml;ssischen Kompositionen und introspektiver Klangpoesie mitnimmt und sie dazu auffordert, die Welt jenseits bin&auml;rer Grenzen zu erleben und neue Resonanzen zu entdecken. Das Album wechselt zwischen Momenten pr&auml;ziser, bewusster Komposition und Abschnitten, in denen sich der Klang organisch entwickelt und die Grenze zwischen Kontrolle und Intuition verwischt.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;
&ldquo;Das Album bewegt sich zwischen zwei Seiten. Manchmal versuche ich, den Klang in seine reinste Form zu formen und zu verfeinern. Manchmal scheint die Musik von selbst zu flie&szlig;en, zu wechseln, zu verblassen und in die Stille zur&uuml;ckzukehren, als w&uuml;rde sie von etwas Nat&uuml;rlichem geleitet. Es geht weniger um Struktur und mehr um Verbindung, Resonanz und Ver&auml;nderung, n&auml;her an &Ouml;kologie als an Architektur&rdquo;, sagt&nbsp;Beving.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

To mark the 10th anniversary of his album Solipsism, composer and pianist Joep Beving has re-recorded the timeless and introspective work to create his new album Solipsism Redux. &ldquo;Solipsism is the idea that reality only exists in one&rsquo;s mind," says Beving. "I called this album Solipsism because I wanted to prove to myself that the opposite is true &ndash; that we are all deeply connected. ... Solipsism was the start of a 10-year exploration of our relationship to reality and I&rsquo;m grateful for what I&rsquo;ve learned, for the people I&rsquo;ve met, and for the moments of peace this music still brings me.&rdquo;  &nbsp;
