Yellow Lounge: Menahem Pressler

In 2018, Menahem Pressler, 94 years young, appeared in Deutsche Grammophon's Yellow Lounge, performing a set of favourite works by Debussy – plus a Chopin Nocturne – in the Säälchen in east Berlin's Friedrichshain. The legendary pianist was pianist of the Beaux Arts Trio for over half a century and, after it was disbanded in 2008, returned to solo activities in his 80s, releasing a solo album with the Yellow Label in the same year as this concert.
