She effortlessly transitions between classical, jazz, and world music, creating impressive, emotionally compelling compositions. As an exclusive artist for Deutsche Grammophon, she is now releasing her debut album, a live recording with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.
Eunike's music has been performed by renowned orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, Jakarta Simfonia Orchestra, Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center. She has collaborated with Ray Chen, TwoSet Violin, Arturo Sandoval, and Laufey, among others, developing a diverse musical portfolio. Her recent production collaboration with Grammy®-winning Chinese-Icelandic singer Laufey for "Only Mine" as part of a Bose and Porsche campaign underscores her multifaceted talent as a producer, arranger, and orchestrator.
In recent years, Eunike has made significant contributions to the film industry, lending her musical prowess to projects such as "The Addams Family 2," "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," and "Abominable and the Invisible City." Among her recent successes is her soundtrack for the American romantic comedy "Asian Persuasion," which premiered at the SOHO International Film Festival in 2023. Eunike's career has also been enriched by the mentorship of industry giants like John Debney and Pinar Toprak. A special recognition of her work is her selection for the NBC Universal Composers Initiative (2024–2026).
Beyond the recording studio, Eunike connects creative talents via social media, giving a new face to composing in the 21st century. Her originality is evident, for example, in her successful series "Hum Me A Melody," where she transforms melodies hummed by passersby into symphonic arrangements. Through educational content and excerpts of her compositions, she aims to make orchestral music accessible to a wider audience and inspire aspiring composers.
Eunike Tanzil was born in Sumatra in 1998 and later moved to Boston to study at the Berklee College of Music. She then received a full scholarship to the Juilliard School, where she was taught by Oscar-winning composer John Corigliano.
