Alongside Creatore and George David Weiss, he also contributed to major hits for artists like Perry Como, Sam Cooke, and Jimmie Rodgers, including “Honeycomb,” “Kisses Sweeter Than Wine,” and “Secretly.” In 1968, Hugo Peretti co-wrote songs for the Broadway musical Maggie Flynn, further cementing his legacy in American music.
