Alice Sara Ott's magnificent performance of both works was recorded at her debut concert at this year's "White Nights" Festival in St. Petersburg and is now released by Deutsche Grammophon. Reflecting on her experience, she expressed how it was a great honor to play at the event for the first time. Playing Mussorgsky in Russia for a Russian audience was indeed a unique challenge for her. With her virtuosic technique and youthful brilliance, Ott brings out the necessary dignity and vibrant colors in the pieces. Recognizing her talent, the emerging artist was appointed as the "Artist Ambassador" of MIDEM in 2013.
