Live from La Grange au Lac in Évian Renaud Capuçon is joined by the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne for a programme of music by Mozart: Violin Concertos Nos. 3 and 5 and the Symphony No. 40 in G minor. Capuçon is soloist and director in the two concertos, among the finest works of Mozart's Salzburg period, and music that forms part of a major new recording project for Deutsche Grammophon. He then takes up the conductor's baton for the composer's dramatic and impassioned penultimate symphony, composed in Vienna in 1788 – a rousing work with which to conclude the concert.
