Heiden Heiland
A collection of fourteen popular Bach cantatas, from "Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland" to "Ich habe genug," is available again. These recordings, made in the late 1960s and early 1970s, were conducted by Karl Richter. Previously, these selected works were only available as downloads. The soloists include renowned artists such as Edith Mathis, Anne Reynolds, Peter Schreier, Ernst Haefliger, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, and Theo Adam. With the accompanying cantata texts, these recordings represent a pinnacle of Bach interpretation, deeply moving listeners. A true feast for the ears!
