After a seven-year hiatus, Giger presents his first album release, in which the creative Swiss violinist, together with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir under the direction of Tõnu Kaljuste, cellist Beat Schneider, and violist Marius Ungureanu, explores new artistic avenues. The compositions investigate the connection between historical music, spontaneous improvisation, and contemporary composition, and include fresh interpretations of works by Hildegard von Bingen and the monks of St. Gallen, as well as original pieces by Giger himself.
