Aaron Copland's The Tagesspiegel asks: Isn't the young maestro Gustavo Dudamel the most musical of them all?
With his temperament and charisma, this star conductor captivates his audience. Deutsche Grammophon is now releasing his first soundtrack. Dudamel's compositional debut is the music for the Venezuelan film 'Libertador'. Inspired by Aaron Copland's 'Fanfare for the Common Man', the score creates a post-Mahlerian soundscape that blends hope and suspense. This release continues the successful collaboration between Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela.
