The Dutch composer and pianist, a prominent figure in contemporary classical streaming, returns to his roots at the piano. Created during the dark days of the pandemic, a time marked by fear and polarization, the album combines poignant melancholy with a glimmer of hope. Inspired by ancient philosophy and his love for Paris, Beving explores the search for universal ideas and beauty in twelve new pieces recorded on his beloved Schimmel piano.
