Jan Lisiecki Jan Lisiecki, already considered an exceptional talent at the age of seventeen, appears outwardly like many of his peers: blond hair, bright eyes. He combines a casual demeanor, erudition, and seriousness, and despite his young age, displays remarkable determination, both in his personal life and in his musical career.

In his own words, he primarily wants to highlight the complexity and multifaceted nature of the works of great composers on stage. For him, interpretation means not only reproduction but also experiencing beauty, expression, and the human voice within the music. This rare combination of natural approach, technical brilliance, and an unusual maturity in interpretation for his age makes him an exceptional figure. On his first recording for Deutsche Grammophon, he performs Mozart's Piano Concertos Nos. 21 and 22 (KV 466 & 467) with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Christian Zacharias, recorded in Munich's Herkulessaal.
