In April 2021, on Good Friday, Sir John Eliot Gardiner performed Johann Sebastian Bach's St. John Passion live at the Sheldonian Theatre in Oxford, dazzling spectators. The live broadcast was so well-received that it is now available on a 2-CD set and a Blu-ray Audio in both stereo and Dolby Atmos®. Additionally, the Blu-ray offers the entire performance in stunning 4K quality as a special feature. A renowned figure in Early Music, Sir John Eliot Gardiner founded both the Monteverdi Choir and the English Baroque Soloists to bring his musical vision to life.
