Weeping, Lamenting, Worrying, Fearing: Víkingur Ólafsson continues his exploration of Bach's works in his latest release.
For his newest piano arrangement, he turned to the second movement of Bach's cantata "Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen" (BWV 12). To develop this version, Ólafsson intensively analyzed both the vocal and orchestral scores. This arrangement is one of six Bach pieces that Ólafsson has adapted for piano. The collection will be released on October 18th, simultaneously as a digital EP and on vinyl.
