One of the most exciting young talents in the classical music world, Spanish violin virtuoso María Dueñas, presents a special Musical Moment recital from Berlin's Meistersaal. She opens with one of the great works of Romantic violin repertoire, César Franck's Violin Sonata in A major, composed as a wedding present for the great Belgian virtuoso Eugène Ysaÿe. After the grandeur of the sonata, Dueñas presents a selection of shorter works, including violin and piano version of songs by Gabriel Fauré and Joan Manèn and a new arrangement of "Yo soy María" from Astor Piazzolla's tango opera María de Buenos Aires.
