Gustavo Adolfo Dudamel Ramírez has undoubtedly established himself in the classical music scene.
At just 36 years old, he became the youngest conductor ever to lead the prestigious New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic. His impressive career is marked by numerous awards and significant collaborations, including with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Gothenburg Orchestra, and as Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Dudamel recently released a recording of Mussorgsky's 'Pictures at an Exhibition' in Maurice Ravel's orchestration with the Vienna Philharmonic at the Musikverein. In his view, Mussorgsky's composition lends itself perfectly to connecting the concert hall with the modern cityscape. This idea was taken up by the children of the charity 'Superar', who organized a photo exhibition on the streets of Vienna using their musical instruments. 'Superar' provides free musical education to disadvantaged children and is committed to ensuring that children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds have equal access to the world of music.
