Album insights

Last year, following the success of his debut album “Mediterráneo” with Deutsche Grammophon two years ago, Miloš released “Latino” which made waves globally in the music charts. Touring with this album, he visited several countries including France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the USA, Canada, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, and Australia. In September 2012, marking a significant milestone, Miloš became the first guitarist to perform a recital at the Royal Albert Hall. Just a month later at the same venue, he was honored with the prestigious Classic BRIT Award for Best Young Artist. Now, Deutsche Grammophon presents "Latino GOLD," a special edition album containing eight unreleased tracks, showcasing Miloš' impressive musical growth. Reflecting on this journey, Miloš shares, “The past year has been the most exciting of my life. Traveling around the world, performing on four continents, and connecting with people through music made me realize I have more to express through my guitar playing. With Latino GOLD, I aim to introduce new sounds and colors into my repertoire. From the well-known Latino songs masterfully arranged by Sergio Assad to Steve Goss's magical rendition of the film score from ‘The Travels of Young Ché’ and the legendary Aria Cantilena featuring the incomparable Anna Prohaska, to the fresh recording of Libertango with my dear friend Ksenija Sidorova.” Additionally, Latino GOLD includes a one-hour documentary titled “HEARTSTRINGS,” providing an intimate glimpse into Miloš and his extraordinary musical journey.
