Marc Bouchkov, the violinist, rose to fame in 2019 by winning the Silver Medal at the renowned Tchaikovsky Competition. Following this success, during the summer of 2021, he delivered two highly acclaimed concerts at the Verbier Festival, leaving unforgettable impressions on all the listeners. His solo performance featuring the incredibly challenging Sonatas No. 5 and 6 by Ysaÿe was a dazzling showcase of virtuosity. Soon after, Bouchkov joined Gábor Takács-Nagy and the VF Chamber Orchestra to deliver a remarkable rendition of Ysaÿe's rarely heard Violin Concerto in E minor.
