The annual performance of a Bach Passion is always a highlight of the Festival de Pâques in beautiful Aix-en-Provence, and in 2024 it's the fiercely dramatic and intense St John Passion, first heard 300 years ago this year. Renowned Baroque specialist Andrea Marcon directs a performance with the La Cetra Barockorchester Basel and the La Cetra Vocal Ensemble and featuring an outstanding line-up of soloists in what promises to a musical highlight for Good Friday.
