Busoni Competition 2023: Grand Finale

The Grand Finale of the 64th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano saw three three pianists – whittled down from hundreds of applicants – compete for the top prize. Anthony Ratinov, Arsenii Moon and Ryota Yamazaki performed concertante works by Prokofiev, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky with the Haydn Orchestra and conductor Arvo Volmer, before Arsenii Mun was eventually announced as the First Prize Winner, as chosen by the competition's distinguished international jury, as well as winner of the Michelangeli Prize, awarded only on the rare occasion that the jury decision is unanimous.
