Marten Larsson: A Symphony on Canvas

Born on November 2, 1960, Marten Larsson is a Swedish classical oboist and music teacher currently residing in Fjugesta, Sweden. He studied at the Royal College of Music (Musikhögskolan) in Stockholm and has been a longstanding member of several prominent Swedish ensembles, including the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, Stockholm Sinfonietta, and Camerata Roman.

Larsson is widely recognized for his contributions to both orchestral and chamber music. His discography includes numerous recordings of core classical repertoire, ranging from Baroque works (such as Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos) to Romantic and 20th-century music.
