Collaborations and Recordings
Wisłocki's most celebrated artistic relationships was with the legendary pianist Sviatoslav Richter. Together, they produced landmark recordings, including Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2, Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, Mozart's Piano Concerto K. 466, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3, and the enchanting notes of Rondo WoO. 6. They also delighted audiences with the charm of Schumann's Piano Concerto intertwined with the eloquence of Introduction & Allegro appassionato and the serenity of Waldszenen. These performances took place alongside the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Wiener Symphoniker, and Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Stanislaw Wislocki, Kurt Sanderling, and Witold Rowicki. These performances, especially the Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky concertos with Richter and the Warsaw Philharmonic, have earned iconic status in the discography of Eastern European orchestral music for their depth of interpretation and technical precision.
