Fragments serves as an opportunity for electronic artists to blend traditional and modern music. Inspired by a new composer regularly, the project invites a range of electronic artists to offer fresh perspectives on renowned composers' works. This endeavor bridges worlds — classical and electronic music, old and new. The series kicks off with Erik Satie, the French pioneer of 'Minimal Music,' an ingenious artist popular in the Parisian nightlife of his era. He was an ambient composer avant la lettre, rediscovered a century after his time. The Fragments project was warmly received during the artist collaboration search, resulting in a collection of remarkable remixes and reworks set to release monthly between August 2021 and May 2022.
