Lisa Batiashvili
In June 2012, an extraordinary performance of the Brahms Violin Concerto took place at the Semperoper Dresden. The Georgian violinist Lisa Batiashvili performed with the Staatskapelle Dresden under the direction of Christian Thielemann. This live recording is complemented on the album by three Romances by Clara Schumann, in which Batiashvili is accompanied by the German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott.
