Yunchan Lim & Minsoo Sohn play Brahms & Strauss

Yunchan Lim shot to pianistic superstardom with his triumph at the 2022 Van Cliburn competition and has since emphatically confirmed his status with his first albums for Decca. This concert, however, offers the rare chance to see him perform with his teacher, Minsoo Sohn – a hugely respected and widely acclaimed performer in his own right. And together they will present a fascinating programme of two well-known works in two-piano guise: Brahms's Sonata in F minor – an early version of what eventually became the celebrated Piano Quintet in the same key – and a brilliant contemporary transcription of the Richard Strauss's Rosenkavalier Suite by South Korean composer Hanurij Lee.
