From the roof of the Institut Français in Paris, Franco-Belgian cellist Camille Thomas invites you to an intimate musical journey through emblematic locations from Versailles to Paris. Armed with her Stradivarius, Thomas offers a poised ode to the power of music and culture to help in times of adversity and to all that humans have been able to create. Performing works from her album Voice of Hope, she plays arrangements of songs and operatic excerpts by Purcell, Gluck, Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti, Massenet, Dvořák, and Wagner. Against the backdrop of beautiful historical settings, the journey is a visually stunning and powerful reminder of the importance of connection.
