Filmed live in Tokyo's famed Suntory Hall in February 2024, pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii presents a recital featuring works by three composers central to his repertoire – and closest to his heart. The concert culminates in Rachmaninoff's early set of Moments Musicaux Op. 16, along with the same composer's haunting Vocalise. Chopin's four Impromptus – including the famous Fantasie-Impromptu in C Sharp Minor – and Bach's sunny French Suite No. 5 complete the programme. All in all, it made for an unforgettable evening in the Japanese capital.
