Roger Eno and Brian Eno share a great interest in sound quality and color in their music. Brian revolutionized pop music while Roger delved into ambient synth and piano recordings reminiscent of Erik Satie. Their collaborative work on "Mixing Colours" reflects an exploration of sound and time, offering 18 meditations on evolving landscapes of music. Released in March 2020 by Deutsche Grammophon, the album received critical acclaim and public adoration. The new release, "Mixing Colours Expanded," introduces six atmospheric tracks alongside "Pewter," previously exclusive to Japan.
