Between Daniel Barenboim and Gustavo Dudamel: An extraordinary partnership exists between Daniel Barenboim and Gustavo Dudamel, one that extends far beyond their South American roots.

The Argentinian pianist, renowned for his passionate interpretations, joins forces with the Venezuelan conductor, whose captivating charisma is undeniable. Together, they perform Brahms's significant Piano Concertos Nos. 1 & 2, among the most fascinating works in the piano repertoire, which Barenboim has masterfully performed since 1958. Brahms's Second Piano Concerto, with its four demanding movements, stands out as a masterpiece of this genre. In September 2014, during an extraordinary concert at the Berlin Philharmonie, an impressive live recording of these two concertos was made by the Staatskapelle Berlin under Dudamel's direction. This special recording is being released as a double CD by Deutsche Grammophon.
