Following the success of her 2021 album 'Echoes of Life,' Alice Sara Ott dedicates her latest release to selected compositions by Beethoven. The Piano Concerto No. 1 in C major, Op. 15, is the centerpiece of this recording, which she made with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Karina Canellakis. The recording was initiated by Apple Music and resulted in Ott, Canellakis, and the orchestra being prominently featured in the launch video of the Apple Music Classical app. In addition to the concerto, the pianist has recorded several solo pieces, including the well-known 'Moonlight Sonata' and the popular 'Für Elise.' The album, simply titled 'Beethoven,' is already available digitally, while the CD version will be released on September 29, 2023.
