As part of the Konzerthaus Berlin's celebrations to mark the centenary of the birth of Yehudi Menuhin, Anoushka Shankar – whose father, Ravi, was a close personal friend of the great violinist – presented special concert of Indian music, mixing popular song with traditional Raggas. For the event, Shankar invited violinist Patricia Kopatschinskaja – a musician renowned for her boundary breaking performance style – to join her and her international colleagues to add an extra dimension of virtuosity and musical interplay.
