Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition: Ivan Krpan

On his way to the First Prize at the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in 2017, Ivan Krpan impressed the distinguished jury with performances of music ranging from from Baroque to contemporary. This selection of highlights features his accounts of music by Busoni himself and Brahms (his Variations on a Theme of Robert Schumann) from the solo rounds, as well as his performance, in the Grand Finale, of Beethoven's majestic "Emperor" Concerto.
