Sofia Gubaidulina – Dialog: Ich und Du; The Wrath of God; The Light of the End

Deutsche Grammophon pays tribute to Sofia Gubaidulina on the occasion of her 90th birthday as one of the most important composers of our time. In close artistic collaboration with her, Andris Nelsons and the Gewandhaus Orchestra will perform three profound and spiritually charged orchestral works for the first time. The violin concerto 'Dialogue: I and You', dedicated to Gubaidulina, will be performed by Vadim Repin. The program is complemented by Gubaidulina's orchestral pieces 'The Wrath of God' and 'The End of Light'.
