Fabio Luisi
The Danish National Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Fabio Luisi, continues its ambitious project to record all of Carl Nielsen's symphonies and concertos. Following the release of Symphonies Nos. 4 and 5, the next step was the recording of Symphonies Nos. 1 and 3. The third installment will then be released digitally, before a 3-CD box set containing all six symphonies is published. This edition will coincide with a two-week Nielsen concert series by the artists at the DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen in April 2023. Deutsche Grammophon presents this highly anticipated musical event.
