A rare gathering of stellar talent at the 2026 Festival de Pâques in Aix-en-Provence sees violinist Renaud Capuçon joining forces with two of his closest friends and collaborators – Martha Argerich and Lahav Shani – as well as musicians from the Munich Philharmonic. The programme showcases two key sonatas from Capuçon's repertoire by Mozart (with Shani) and Debussy (with Argerich) and culminates with him and Argerich leading a performance of one of the masterpieces of the chamber music repertory: Schumann's magnificent Piano Quintet, Op. 44. Throw in a haunting further rarity by Schumann, and the result is an unmissable concert showing not only different facets of these composers but also of these remarkable artists.
