Yellow Lounge: Alice Sara Ott & Julius Asal

Two pianists from the Deutsche Grammophon stable come together for this Yellow Lounge at Pop Kudamm in Berlin. Alice Sara Ott, signed to the Yellow Label since 2008, presents music from her Echoes of Life album, including works by Beethoven, Bach, Chilly Gonzales and Arvo Pärt. For the second set, new DG signing Julius Asal performs works by Scarlatti, Debussy, Scriabin and Rachmaninoff, which he brings together with his own improvisations to create a fascinating musical journey. Both sets are complemented by video projections created by Ex Pfadfinderei.
