Pretty Yende: Opera Gala

The annual Cap Rocat Festival marries superb performances with stunning scenery: concerts are staged at the celebrated Cap Rocat Hotel, right on Mallorca's Mediterranean coast. This year, Pretty Yende continues the festival's tradition of playing host to the world's great opera stars with an opera gala featuring some of the greatest soprano arias – ranging from Bellini and Verdi to Berlioz, Gounod and Dvořák – taken operas she's already performed or plans to star in soon. The South African soprano is supported by the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands under the expert direction of Riccardo Frizza.
