Rising Stars: Anna El-Khashem, Soprano

One of the most promising young singers of her generation, St Petersburg-trained soprano Anna El-Khashem has already made many important debuts since her triumph in the Neue Stimmen singing competition in 2019. In this showcase, she performs not just arias from operas by Rimsky-Korsakov and Mozart (Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro – one of her signature roles), but also songs by Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.
