Daniil Trifonov
The first studio recording by acclaimed Russian piano virtuoso Daniil Trifonov pays tribute to his musical predecessor, Sergei Rachmaninoff. This collection unites well-known pieces with rarer works and also includes the world premiere of his own composition. As an heir to the Russian tradition of pianists and composers like Rachmaninoff, Trifonov combines romantic sensibility with youthful technical brilliance.
