Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben, Cantata BWV 147

Rafał Blechacz, a Polish pianist who in 2005 became the first Pole in three decades to win the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, is one of the most exceptional artists of his generation.[2][4][5] Alongside his remarkable career as one of the most outstanding Chopin interpreters, Blechacz maintains a close artistic relationship with Johann Sebastian Bach.

For years before his career as a pianist, he devoted himself intensively to playing the organ, which gave him a profound understanding of Bach's music. His first recording of works by Bach impresses with a particularly sensitive and authentic interpretation that does justice to the spirit of the composer.
