Album insights

In his international debut with Deutsche Grammophon, Radulović presents "Journey East," tracing the musical milestones of his life in reverse order. Collaborating with acclaimed French producer Yvan Cassar, Radulović explores classical, world music, electronica, and pop genres. Alongside musicians from two ensembles he frequently performs with—Les Trilles du Diable and Double Sen—and his longtime musical partner, pianist Laure Favre-Kahn, Radulović is joined by the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin conducted by Michail Jurowski. Together, they transport us to the vibrant Balkan world with classical and folk melodies from Serbia, old Bohemia, Hungary, Romania, Macedonia, Armenia, and Russia. Some tunes are familiar, others less so, but all hold a special place in the violinist's heart, uniting in one theme: the emotional power of music.
