The bond between composer John Williams and the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra dates way back. It all began in July 1978 when the film composer conducted the orchestra for the first time at Hollywood Bowl. This event came after his Oscar win for the music in “Star Wars” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”. "Celebrating John Williams" presents a powerful live concert by the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of John Williams' friend, Gustavo Dudamel. The concert features the iconic film scores of one of America's most popular and successful modern composers, including music from “Star Wars”, “Harry Potter”, “Indiana Jones”, “Jaws”, and more.
