Video Formats

Streaming from the Seoul Arts Center just one day after it took place, this recital brings together cellist Kian Soltani — one of the most prominent cellists of his generation — and pianist Jae Hong Park, a rising presence on the international stage. It begins with Schubert’s Arpeggione Sonata, its long, flowing lines offering a reflective opening to the programme. Reza Vali’s Persian Folk Songs follow, where traditional melodies take on vivid contemporary colour. After the interval, the recital turns to Rachmaninoff’s Sonata in G minor, a work of broad emotional scope and close-knit dialogue. A rich and varied programme, and a compelling showcase of the cellist’s art.
