Silky technique, temperament and elegance – violinist Bomsori boasts all the qualities of an ideal Mozartian. Mozart's five violin concertos date from his Salzburg period, and before he turned to the piano after moving to Vienna. Written between 1773 and 1775, they showcase the genius of a composer in his late teens who was also a superb violinist, displaying youthful verve alongside melodic richness and inexhaustible imagination. In these performances of all five works from the Rheingau Music Festival – culminating in the great Concerto in A major – Bomsori has an ideal ensemble at her side in the shape of the Camerata Salzburg.
