Avi Avital and Between Worlds: Black Sea

For the second part of his Between Worlds series at the Pierre Boulez Saal, focused on the Black Sea region, mandolinist Avi Avital is joined by his Between Worlds Ensemble as well as the male chorus of Rustavi, an ensemble dedicated to preserving the rich tradition of Georgian folk music and dance. The programme also includes new arrangements of works by Georgian and Turkish composers.
