Yannick Nézet-Séguin.
The Principal Roles: The new production of "Così fan tutte" in July 2012, with its excellent cast and enthusiastic vocal ensemble, demonstrates the timeless relevance of this Mozart opera. This performance is the second recording in a series of seven Mozart operas, recorded live at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden and released by Deutsche Grammophon. This opera series was initiated by Rolando Villazón and conducted by the young Canadian conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The principal roles were outstandingly interpreted: Mojca Erdmann portrayed Despina, while Miah Persson and Angela Brower portrayed the sisters Fiordiligi and Dorabella. Adam Plachetka as Guglielmo and Alessandro Corbelli as Alfonso were convincing in the male roles.
