Lang Lang Lang Lang brings together musical discoveries and rarities on this album. Together with the Gewandhaus Orchestra under the direction of Andris Nelsons, he performs Saint-Saëns' Second Piano Concerto – a romantic work that can stand alongside the compositions of Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky.

Carnival of the Animals, an entertaining and universally beloved piece, has always delighted young listeners. Lang Lang combines this work with solo piano pieces by five French female composers, as well as other well-known French classics. The album is available as a double CD, double LP, and digitally, with Lang Lang collaborating with his wife, Gina Alice, as well as with the Gewandhaus Orchestra and Andris Nelsons. The focus is on the poetic Carnival of the Animals, the virtuosic Second Piano Concerto by Saint-Saëns, and additional piano works. As a digital bonus version, the album also includes Carnival of the Animals with humorous poems by Ogden Nash, read by Jimmy Fallon.
