Seong-Jin Cho: The Handel Project

Filmed in concert at the Siemensvilla in Berlin in September 2022, pianist Seong-Jin Cho presents repertoire from his new Deutsche Grammophon album, "The Handel Project". Cho sets out to shine a light on Handel's solo keyboard works – rarely heard on a modern piano – and focuses on two of the Suites from 1720, which he performs alongside Brahms's monumental Handel Variations. The beautiful Sarabande from Suite No. 7 and the Minuet in G minor – in Wilhelm Kempff's arrangement – complete the programme.
