Daniil Trifonov: Live in Verbier

Daniil Trifonov brings his current recital programme – already showcased on tour throughout the world – to the star-studded Verbier Festival in one of the most eagerly awaited concerts of the Festival's 2025 line-up. The programme features two sonatas – Tchaikovsky's ambitious early Sonata in C Sharp Minor and Samuel Barber's compelling E-Flat Minor Sonata of 1949 – bookending a selection of Chopin Waltzes and concludes with a veritable tour de force: Mikhail Pletnev's ingenious and irresistible piano arrangement of highlights from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty.
